Albergue Mar De Fora - Finisterre

The room I stayed in had a balcony, and let me tell you, the view was absolutely breathtaking! I could spend hours just sitting there, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. It made my mornings and evenings so much more enjoyable.

Personally, I would have preferred if the room had a patio instead of just a balcony. I think having a larger outdoor space would have allowed me to fully enjoy the beautiful surroundings, especially on sunny days.

Albergue Mar De Fora is my go-to place in Finisterre. The staff helped me with a morning wake-up call. It has everything I need - Wi-Fi, a dryer, and a shared kitchen. Perfect for me! Coming back for New Year!

The rooms at Albergue Mar De Fora are absolutely amazing! I stayed in a double room with a balcony and it was perfect. I loved having my morning coffee on the balcony while enjoying the beautiful view. The room also had a coffee machine, which was a nice bonus. I felt very cozy and comfortable in my room.

Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the oven in the double room. It's just not something I usually use while traveling.

The best aspects of our stay were the friendly host and the amazing location. the location of the hotel was perfect, as it was close to both the city and the beach. We loved being able to easily explore both and make the most of our Christmas vacation. the fact that the lockers had separate keys and the showers were huge added to our convenience and comfort.

One thing we didn't like was the lack of security. the hostel was open all the time with no locks or security codes, which made us feel a bit uneasy.

The laundry service could be improved, as some guests have had difficulty using the washer and dryer.

Mar de Fora provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a shared lounge, and a terrace. It's like being at a fancy adult summer camp!

Oh, just a few strange rules, like not being able to store alcohol in the fridge. Because who needs a cold drink on vacation, right?

We had a great experience at Albergue Mar De Fora. the friendly owner went out of their way to recommend a beautiful beach for us to swim at, which we wouldn't have known about otherwise. the property was kept immaculately clean and the staff were very friendly. the location was perfect, just a short walk to the town center and the beaches. the kitchen was fully equipped and the owner even provided breakfast each morning. We also enjoyed petting the neighborhood cats. The hostel was situated in a quiet residential area, making for a peaceful stay. Cons: Nothing to mention 🤷‍♀️.
